“Our product is a window into society.”
When did you start working for Digital i?
I started in November 2022. It has been a very exciting journey so far.
What do you like most about your job and why?
I love everything to do with data analysis. The media industry is fascinating, so when it comes to media data analysis – it really is the perfect combination. The culture of collaboration and the people at Digital i really make it a special place to work.
What do you do in your free time?
I watch movies, I listen to tons of podcasts and I (try to) play the piano.
What’s your favourite streaming platform and why?
It has to be Netflix. There is always great content available and I never struggle to find something good to watch.
What are your top 5 favourite series?
Money Heist, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story and Chef’s Table.
What piece of work that you’ve done for Digital i are you most proud of?
We analysed viewing data for The Crown, looking to see how viewing behaviour was impacted by current events like of the Queen’s death and the release of the ubiquitous Harry and Meghan documentary on Netflix. Data analysis that connects SVOD content with real life events always fascinates me.
What are your career goals during your time with Digital i?
I want to give Digital i as much visibility as possible. We are doing innovative and disruptive work and it can make a big difference for key players in the industry. My other goal is to get the best out of everybody in my team and give them the recognition they deserve.
How are you forming part of the viewing revolution?
I am part of the audience (I do my fair bit of watching and even binging sometimes) and I have the privilege to look at in-depth viewing trends and see what draws people to one piece of content rather than another. In a way, it is a window into our society.
